Hey all! First post, quite excited. I just bought the PDF for Fistful of TOWS 2 yesterday and had some questions. Firstly, does anybody know if there's a WWII Japanese Army supplement somewhere? My favorite theatre/time was the Pacific in 1943. I'd love to play some games in that range but FFoT3 isn't really for that. I'd love to build a Japanese Army, though.

Second, I've read the rules on aircraft but am still a bit confused. Is there any point in actually buying the models and painting them? Aircraft and tanks are my favorite things to model and I'd hate not to be able to make them. Do you actually move the aircraft like regular units? If not, is there an optional rule someone knows of? I plan on playing the game by using the 1:5 rules for 6mm, but with 3mm minis. Basically one base but with 5 3mm tanks on it or whatever. Thanks a million!

No real need for aircraft stands in the game but I still use them when doing attack runs. Helicopter stands are needed.

No idea on Japanese, should be fairly easy to make some up though.

In most ground games there is simply no need for aircraft models. They typically arrive, strafe/bomb and depart all in one phase. They call them fast movers for a reason.

On the other hand they look dang cool. And in 3mm you could put a full flight of 4 models on a little "squadron" base. Awesome.

You could also bolt on the AirWar:C21 rules, and have aerial combats right over the battlefield, if desired, and/or use them to conduct air-to-ground attacks, and flak/SAM defensive fire on the aircraft as well.

Not sure if that is needed with FFT, but I've combined other rules systems in the past to do that, e.g. Shipwreck with Clash of Sabres for the air battles, and anti-ship attacks. Worked well.

At the very least, I'd put some attack jets on the table for the strafing runs, bombing attacks, and rocket salvoes, just for grins.

FFT has rules for bomb runs etc. But they have little use for the actual models really.

Grest rules though.

AirWar:C21 seems to fit the niche for the Cold War armies I want to build. What about WWII, though, is there something similar? Also, how would I go about making my own army list? (sorry, ultra-noob here)
