Just how different were Russian infantry uniforms between 1905 and 1914? In 15mm scale, is it something that can be done with a paintbrush or are the differences really more than that?

The differences will be more than just color, but your tolerance to it is the critical factor.

What he regs say and what happened in the fields is rather great as well, so there is a lot of room for fudging the details.

I guess my question boils down to this: should I use Old Glory 15's Russians, right uniform but no fixed bayonets – or Khurasan's 1914 Russians with fixed bayonets.

And of course I might not go down the path to this war anyway… I'm so flighty.
