Because and this is my understanding, even though you are posting a nude image on the nude image board you have to put a warning that you're posting a nude image which just seems redundant to me. I mean the board has nude right in the title! |

Posting Nude or Semi-Nude Figures on the NSFW Message Board seems OK to me – that's what it is for – you shouldn't need an additional warning. Only if you cross-post to another board, should a warning be required! That's my opinion FWIW! |

Seriously the many postings of Tango are ONE of the aspects that makes me visit TMP regularly. While some are redundant to existing threats, and many are of no interest to me, I think I am capable of sorting them out. There are many minis that DO interest me and are not directly wargaming related – let me hint at the recent Viking and Renaissance civilians as an example. Nudes may more often fall under that category, but this posting WAS in the correct forum for such stuff. If, however, a policy of "no minis beside wargaming" is enforced on this "miniature page", I will take my time to another forum. Keep it on, Armand, and thanks for your many pointers… |

And there was I just itching to post a picture of the Three Muses but thought better of it. Perhaps it would be better to post someone getting shot dead live on U.S TV via Helicam, which is much more acceptable than showing the human body. Other TV channels over there even pixelate nudes painted by the grand masters which includes the posterior cleavage if that's showing too!…Something not quite right over there methinks. I remember all that fuss over Michael Jackson getting his star emblazoned breast out at the Super Bowl and the U.S almost fall apart because of it! |

Lemme get this straight…..we are on The Miniatures Page….Tango puts this up for whatever reason, much as he does with the rest of his stuff….wargaming context virtually nil (though to the victor the spoils I suppose)….someone must collect and paint them otherwise they would not be marketted….
So far so good (hopefully)….now, the title gives an indication of the subject material….so how come the pics give offense….after all, what's not to like: perky  and a nice arse to put it bluntly (though I fully expect these emminently suitable adjectives to be snipped).
Please tell me how I can post a picture of Botticelli's Venus…or should I not in case I cause grave offense to a sad blinkered few… |
