Does anyone know where I could find a listing of scenarios for skirmish gaming? I play 28mm sci-fi, but any WW2, modern or near future scenarios would work just fine with a little tinkering. Thanks in advance. |

You can use the Slammers one I featured in Miniature Wargames 401 that's just come out! John T |

There's several Ambush Alley/Force on Force scenario books you can raid. You could also chase down the d20 Modern RPG scenario books, there were a Somalia/Africa book, a Columbia/South America book, and an Afghanistan book. |

Most games put out scenarios at some point -- other than the obvious and boring Attrition that most people reputedly end up playing all the time anyway. The problem with them is that they tend to be somewhat game mechanics depended. I have used a scenario generator that I pilfered from a White Dwarf article years ago and modified a bit that isn't too much so. I can let you have a copy if you like. |

That would be great, thank you. |

On Wargame Vault there are two booklets available called, funnily enough, "Scenarios for Sci-Fi Wargames" Vol 1 & 2. The setups are quite interesting and varied, and lend themselves to adaptation. They're generic enough that I'm actually using them for a modern day Imagi-Nation campaign. |

I found only one version of my generator and unfortunately it was the one I tailored for Infinity when it came out some years ago. I have to work on it a bit to reverse engineer the more generic version. |

Flux Battle Objectives is a super-cheap PDF that has primary, secondary, and tertiary missions. You might have to lure the enemy forces into your territory as part of a trap, while optionally trying to get one of your soldiers to take samples at a couple of terrain features for the scientists back home, and the general's pointed out that private jenkins on the other side was his son's babysitter and probably just signed up because they're easily swayed into mistakes – see if you can have them survive the battle, please? A lot of the minor objectives fit fine with missions and scenarios from other sources – it may be an ambush or a convoy escort, but that doesn't mean the techs haven't made experimental modifications to someone's weapon that will have no game effect, but they'd quite like to see it used and get the records back. link is a decent review. It's available here: link |
