Hi: I want to know if there is some plastic kit of a British Comet tank in 1/72. I´ve only found a very old 1/76 matchbox one (which actually was my very first model kit my father gave me in 1978 when i was 6) If no plastic available, which one will be the best metal ones? Thanks a lot, Regards, Diego |

Revell makes or made a 1/76 Comet. You might want to see if S&S has a kit. |

The Revell 1/76th models ARE Matchbox… They acquired those tools when the Matchbox line was shut down. |

IMHO The only 1/72 Comet is the ready made version from Hobbymaster . |

Hobbymaster is the best bet, but Cromwell makes a nice kit in 1/72 scale too. Dan Taylor offers some add-ons, as I recall, such a replacement roadwheels. If you're looking for 1/72 scale, stay away from the Revell (ex-mathcbox) kit. It's 1/76 and too small for 1/72 scale. - George |
