Matchbox makes several vehicles in their Arctic Explorers line, some sold individually and some in sets. Including:

Blizzard Buster tracked vehicle with bulldozer (decal says Arctic Recon 2)
Polar Rescue truck
Polar Rescue jet with skis
two-rotor helicopter
Polar Rescue large vehicle with 4 tracks
Highway Maintenance snowplow truck
Ford 'Arctic' Expedition
Snow Ripper snowmobile
and probably more

Of course, the problem is that the scale is 'whatever fits the packaging'.

For example, the Blizzard Buster is at Dollar Tree currently, so I picked one up. The cab is 15mm tall with an 8mm windshield; the crew compartment is 12mm tall.

Comparing to a 15mm figure, it's too small; seems too large for 6mm figures…

My self I use Matchbox trucks for most part, just to represent the vehicle it's self, only because there is not a source for everyday vehicles in 15mm scale, i.e. firetruck delivery trucks of different sorts, garbage truck, street sweepers, I don't use the cars for they are to big so I went for one of those 1/100 Scale cars of a hundred you can find on Ebay.

So if your going for a a Arctic adventures using those Matchbox vehicles then I say go for it.

I've been buying some of them just in case I ever decide to buy some figures to go with them. I figure I'd better get the vehicles while they are available.
