Well there was a bit of fubar of my package from the postal service and my apartment manager but I finally got my order from Hydra Miniatures from their recent sale. By the way none of this was Matt's fault as he had sent the merchandise in a timely fashion and when I inquired about the whereabouts he was quick to respond and that helped me realize that once again my local service was less than stellar. But hey I got my Retro Raygun rule book. I've given it one read and know I am going to like this rule set and the world it takes place in. In addition I ordered a substantial force or Galacteers and Robot Legion and the figures are simply excellent. Oh but within the confines of the package were the promised special preview packs of Hydra's forth coming 10 mm Retro Raygun science fiction game Atomic Tank. Damn you Matt these models are hard to believe they are 10 mm. The detail is excellent. Well I will look forward to seeing the rest of the 10 mm line come out and going down the 10 mm rabbit hole. Okay I realize I am going to have order a few more bits and bobs from Hydra in order to put on a proper first game of Retro Raygun. Oh and there is new terrain projects to plan and build as well. |

I have to agree, Hydra Minis are truly stellar. Very nice figures. I'm also looking forward to their 10mm range (I thought they were being billed as 12mm?) but to mix it with their normal 28mm Robot Legion with my 15mm figures. I feel they happily cross scales to give very impressive presence on the table. Great service too. |
