Hello Gang,

I wanted to give a shout out to Iron Wind. Many years ago when ever I went through Cincinnati, I would stop by the old Ral Partha factory and those kind folks would let me shop. I would go in the back with an empty box and go through bin after bin…pulling figures and accessories to my heart's content and then pay by the pound when I checked out. On a whim, I stopped by the Iron Wind factory. Much to my surprise, Melissa Morello, one of the owners was warm and inviting. She gave me a wonderful tour and then allowed me to shop with a box. Oh the memories…what a terrific company! They are now employee owned and business is good. As many of you know, they have been launching kick starters and bringing back their wonderful lines of fantasy! Next time you are in Cincinnati, stop by! I will be dusting off all my old Ral Partha gems and adding to them.

I gave them a sizable donation at Origins on a large loot pile of battletech mechs. Super nice people.

Man, I'd love to do that. Sounds freakin fun!

When they used to come to Little Wars they had a buy by the pound deal. I always came home with a few pounds of minis.

They were about 10 miles from my house. Been going there to buy figs since the 80s. Mike Noe is the president and former Partha employee. Truly a nice guy. The folks there are all good folks. Nice to see a Company with people like this do well.

At $4 USD a fig I'll have to give the little guys a pass.

Back in the day I considered them a bargain; now I consider them to be way overpriced.
