I love hexon, but a full 6x4 setup is not in the budget right now. I also like my Hotz mat, but they only have inches and over 6' the 16mm difference adds up.

So anyone make a nice hex-grid mat with a 10cm grid?

I don't particularly play hex-grid games but I do like it for things like hidden unit placement.

Hex mats are super-easy to make yourself if you mark the centers and not the intersections:

Thanks for the DIY tip that sounds quite doable. Lots of good replies to your post too.

And deep cut's a pretty reasonable price considering; time vs money always the big question.
