Scott is a fantastic painter! I am holding my breath that he will accept a large commission from me in 2017;)

I have never been a fan of Russians, and even knowing how many battles they were involved in I was reluctant to build a Russian Army. I can't believe I have been converted by seeing Scott's Moscow Militia

It takes skill to paint such a scruffy looking lot, in dull uniforms, to look so good.

We can all "do" Elite Gard du Corps Pioneers of Murat's Neapolitan Army……..or try to. The colours do help.

This takes subtle skill

Naw, if they were that cool, I would dry brush in white, to show frost. I have spent the day trying to do that, with a 15/18mm Boney Sleigh… I fear overdone it actually…..

Does anyone, really, seriously, still say "cool"?

I thought my generation left that in San Francisco, about end of 60's. My Levi's, then, were 28ins waist, they are now 34ins waist and loose at that, but I have not said "cool" or " far out, man" in four decades.

My personality has not changed one jot. What a Long Strange Trip is really has Been…….and if you have have no idea what I mean……

"cool" is just (like my two granddaughters always say) "so 60's granddad, you cannot say that"

HidaSeku26 Aug 2016 1:11 p.m. PST

I didn't realize saying "cool" was so controversial…

Just dated, man……(I am only kidding…….it is my age…we invented all this talk and we are suddenly are too old to use it now. Forgive us and indulge us)

I say cool.

I was raised in Norway by my father that had lived most of his life in California, before moving to Norway.
We always spoke English at home growing up. Or more precisely, American, 60`s American..

When I moved to the US for a couple of years in the mid 1990s everyone thought I had arrived there in a timemachine from the 60`s on account of my Lingo:)

Peace
Dr J
