We have had a whole spate of new periods emerging in our gaming group as a result of the second edition of Sharp Practice, from French Indian Wars to Indian Mutiny, but the oddest must surely be Russian colonial expansion around the Iranian border. What new periods does Sharp Practice see you playing?

Zulu.

As mentioned above "Zulu" but am still trying to work out how. I hope that there will be a supplement for it.

Not new to me, but I will be playing the First Northern War: British v Maori.

South American Wars of Independence. I think that Sharp Practice would fit nicely in that niche.

Sudan for me.

The 2nd Anglo Chinese war. I already had the Chinese for Boxer Rebellion but have bought troops for the British for the earlier conflict.

British intervention in the ACW once I've finished painting the troops and sourced the leaders.

There is a Colonial Supplement in the works. Saw mention of it on the Lardies Forum or Site.

Originally intended to play the Franco- Prussian war but learned that I'd better wait for a further supplement. So I chose the Indian Mutiny instead. Very much helped by the magnificent iron Duke range that became available.

However, as the IM figures aren't ready yet we've played several FIW games to get acquainted with the rules ( those figures we had ready)

Next on the list is the great Northern War (1700) and those Cape War Perry figures are very, very enticing.
But so are the Studio Miniatures Anglo Afghan war figures! And I already have some Afghans which I intend to use in India.

War of the Triple Alliance (1864-1870).

The rules work well for various South American civil wars as well.

I have jumped in on the Indian Mutiny using the beautiful Iron Duke miniatures and think that Perry Carlists are also in my future using Sharp Practice 2.

I second the Sudan and add the NWF!
