I'm having a go at scratch building a 1:600 model of the breastwork monitor HMVS Cerberus – it's very much a work in progress but feel free to drop by the blog and you will see the project unfold. link

Fellow scratch builders might get a laugh from the fact that I had to purchase the 1/2 inch tube for the turrets in such quantities I could make 600 of them – I'm sure it will find a use! ;)

I'll be watching this. Curious to see how you do the turret roofs and gun slots.

Yes, I'm curious how I will turret roofs and gun slots too! 3mm in height is not much to work with!
