Just a few teaser photos from new book out that shows off colour photos from 1935-43, taken by a historical team with the Farm Security Administration back then. The teaser ones include a carnival front, African-American juke joint, and Louisiana fish shop (not sure if it's really in the bayou, but it's close enough for me).

Also a photo showing some cars in the city, don't think I've ever seen a period silver car in the flesh so to speak, though I knew they existed. I always love seeing the colours of clothes, cars, etc.
