A new battlesuit I've been working this past 2 months. About 60-70% complete? The guns are placeholders scavenged from another build. The two boxes on the 'shoulders' are going to be two larger arms coming down the back. Tried something new and sculpted the whole thing out of polymer clay (Fimo Professional) rather than two part epoxy. It's quite fun!
Size Comparison is with Joe, a bog standard GW SM Scout. Comments appreciated! |

Looks superb! The only criticism I'd give is that the feet seem a bit small/narrow for the build, and the style. Maybe…half again as broad? Are you going for a clean and smooth look to the tech? Less criticism than suggestion – I'd put some more details on the upper surfaces, say, panels/emitters, hex-grid greeblie things? The 'fabric sheathing' over the leg mechanisms is nice, I like that look. Nice job on the scout, too – the lines are the armor are excellent. |

Is it possible to get a variant add-on dome under the "cockpit"? It would make a very good power armour for Korean gaming gremlins… |

So that's awesome. I'd second the request for larger feet. More 'toes' for a broader footprint, perhaps. I'd also request a bit more menace to the weapons (bigger, uglier) and arm pose variations. Other than that, all I want to know is when can I place an order? |

Long time no see, ZandrisIV, and what a magnificent return! Any new starships in the offing? |

@nvdoyle and Dentatus I quite like the feet as they are actually. I plan to bulk them up very slightly with cleats on the sides of the toes when I do the final detail pass, but they're not going to be very much bigger. Unfortunately it seems I like my [s]girls [/s] giant death machines with dainty feet. Its probably due to the Appleseed and Keith Thompson inspiration. Also there will be a detail pass for more greeblies. It is looking very smooth at the moment. End result will be similar to my other suits. The two big 'rear arms' are going to come with a huge honkin' cannon and a CCW of some kind. The front arms will have the option for a manipulator or a more basic gun. @Jakar I think a big dome cockpit is going to be cutting it much too close for comfort. You can paint the chest plate as glass though and give it a nice pink paintjob! @Covert Walrus Thanks! No starships sadly. I have less and less time these days and they just don't sell very well! To be honest I enjoy doing battlesuits more as well. |

NVDoyle… Smaller feet, less stability. Trade off is more agility. If you want to view it from an engineering perspective, that is. It looks like this thing has DEW for arms, so maybe recoil isn't as big of a problem for the frame as it could be. |

Its probably due to the Appleseed and Keith Thompson inspiration. This is not a bad thing. And really, it's not like it'd be all that hard to add plasticard toes off to the sides. I like it, looking forward to the final product. |

ZIV – thanks for the response, but my query stands, sir: when can I place an order? |

I really like this beast! Should work well as a Ghost In The Shell 15mm rampaging mech too, right up my alley! |

@Dentatus – early next year probably? I'm living away from home for work so I'm sculpting on weekends and trying to get some painting done during the week. It'll probably be done before Xmas but the holidays are probably going to up production. @nvdoyle – I've taken to using putty/clay for small greeblie details recently actually. More and more I'm finding plasticard needs a lot of work to get it attached nicely vs just sticking more clay on. |

Very nice. Would work as a 6mm Mech. Love the idea about four arms (as an option please). Also bigger 'bird like' feet. Looking forward to seeing this model on sale. Great work! |
