You are right Mike. I cut away the supports on the horse's hooves that are raised off of the ground for aesthetic reasons. But now they have to be handled with respect. That is an interesting trade off – gaming durability versus aesthetic appeal. I guess I will see how these ones perform over the long haul. Fortunately, my kids are grown to the point where they can handle things carefully, so I think I like the aesthetic look, and can handle them with enough care to have them not bend over.

Very nice!

I find the ankles fragile, too, so tend to use those particular horses as casualty minis. They make great casualty figures once the bases have been cut away, as the legs can be easily bent. It's really hard to find good dead horses without bridles.
