All, how do Steve Barber figures compare to Perry figures? I own only Perry ACW but I'm looking for other variations like the PA Bucktails. Thoughts?

They mix well. Steve Barber also has some interesting vignettes that shouldn't be overlooked. And I really like the guns from them.

Thanks. When you say mix well, do you mean they can share the same stand or just the same table ?

Do they carry the Bucktails or will you have to purchase a generic set of figures and also purchase packs of heads to do a swap?

I think they would be fine on the same stand. Certainly on the same table.

Barber does have the Bucktails, hence my interest. I own Perry's iron brigade. I'm doing Day One Gettysburg, which is why I'm looking at the Bucktails.

I used heads from Steve Barber and from Redoubt on my mostly redoubt ACW collection. Redoubt have bucktails also so you could really get a lot of different heads on that regiment….

Cool. Thanks.

Nice to know that I can mix them!

I do see them list the Bucktails but for me they unfortunately are in marching/shoulder arms pose and I am not a fan of that. I would prefer advancing or firing.

I would love to see the photos. I asked for them.

If you go with Redoubt you could put the Bucktail heads on any of their poses. So you could go with Redoubt figures and mix in some Steve Barber bucktail heads as an alternative.

Most of these figs are Redoubt:
