The website FAQ has been updated. TMP link

The update now states what was common sense before – don't post nude or objectionable pictures unless there is a hobby reason to do so. A photo of a topless elf in 28mm is fine. A photo of a stripper is not OK.

(We've almost never had a problem with this, but it was an oversight not to mention it in the FAQ.)

Secondly, we'd explained in the FAQ how to mark when a picture that you are posting is "adult" in content. We have explained this in the forum in the past, but now it is added to the FAQ.

And thirdly, it's now against forum rules to post an "adult" photo without marking it as such. Users' filters won't filter out photos that are unmarked. We'll give warnings to violators this week, but after that it will be the Dawghouse (also for anyone who doesn't listen to a warning!).

What about a screen shot that includes a very vulgar term? Hmmmm?

It was marked as "adult."

The world has become another shade greyer.

Not 50 shades, obviously, as that might be objectionable…

And what hobby – is it the painting of miniatures. Or must they be war related? We can have horror but not beauty? Or must all nudes now have an axe on the base to link them to "our hobby"?

Are plains settlers still ok, or are they not warlike enough?

Roman senate?

Sorry, I don't even know why this bothers me as much as it does, but I does. My bad.
