I would say that the Allied victory was due entirely to their economic and manpower superiority. No so myth, fact.

In fact reading a bit further, I dismiss this lecture as tosh.

Gerhard Weinberg's "A World At Arms: A Global History of World War II" is one of the better, if not best, single volume (though 1,178 pages) history of WW II.
