Minus anything available on Shapeways, so far have been able to build at least a large semblance, if not complete representation, of the following modern navies in 1/2400: US UK Russia PRC Taiwan Japan Taiwan was doable because of the various imported ships used. Any other navies one is able to do in 1/2400 (excluding Shapeways models, I know a lot is made there)? Any navies you are looking forward to in this scale? Would certainly like to see South Korea and more NATO nations (modern French, Dutch and German being at the top of my list). Many of those ships are used by other nations as well, which opens up more possibilities. Lots of Cold War navies available from many nations (French, German, Italian, etc.), mainly because the majority of manufacturers got their starts doing ships from the 80's and earlier. Only GHQ, Viking Forge and SeaWulf seem to be doing new castings at the moment. CinC and Superior haven't released anything new in ages. |

Would like to see the La Combattante class in 1/2400. Used by Iran and other ME countries and I'd like to do some of the action from the First Gulf War (i.e., Iran-Iraq War). |

Then use the SeaBattles German Type 148. Viking Forge has it stk#SB175B It has Exocet missiles instead of the Harpoon racks the Iranian units carried And if you consider the Falklands "modern" then SeaWulf makes them or Viking Forge has SeaBattle Gearing FRAMs. |
