My first recollections of her were in the t.v. series "My Living Doll". Many happy returns of the day! |

Apparently, My Living Doll is a lost show… very few episodes have been saved, I've heard. And yes, I remember that show!!!! |

It seems that a lot of them were shot in 35mm and were lost in an earthquake. |

Julie Newmar was Catwoman. Catwoman fought Batman. Batman is a Superhero. Superhero gaming is part of wargaming and is on TMP. Cats like Bacon. Bacon is the last name of Kevin Bacon. |

Actually, Jeannie and Mrs. Peel did it for me,but sure. Before somebody hits the Misogyny button, and in the interests of equal opportunity objectifying,I'll mention that after seeing Star Trek OS in my teens during its first run, I was interested to hear years later from a younger female friend that,as a child, it triggered the first stirrings of puberty. She had a recurring dream in which she was being "carried away" by Mister Spock. Didn't figure it out for a few years. Interesting lady. Of course, I imagine ST had that effect on a lot of boys, too! |

Sadly, I still fail to see any connection to wargaming, and yes, I knew who she was. |

Jarrovian- Julie Newmar played the character of Cat Woman on the 1960s Batman TV show. It was and still is a very popular show and franchise. Cat Woman and Batman were among several characters on this show. People game Batman and other super hero shows, movies, stories, etc. Here on TMP we have a board called Superhero Message Board where we post topics related to Super Hero gaming. We post all sorts of information about rules, scenarios, figures, terrain, and the characters. We also post info on upcoming releases of products, movies, books and even the real life humans who play the characters in the various forms of media. |

I didn't see a connection to the real Julie Newmar, but now you've explained it, whatever floats your boat is fine. |

For a long time, if not perhaps still true, she had the longest legs in show business--37.5"--and even for a dancer, that's a long step! |
