Interesting, but it lost me a bit when it described Rommel as a brilliant strategist. Brilliant tactically and at an operational level yes, strategically? Not at all. Agree with Von Manstein and Von Rundstedt and Guderian and Rommel is definitely up there.

Rommel rated too high.

Kesselring rated too low.

Limited to field marshals, there were a number of outstanding army commanders that should rate too.

totally agree on Kesselring and Rommel. Rommel was a best a tactical leader. Great at what he did but lacking in real strategic vision. Smiling Albert was a much better commander.
