Alrighty, I get that figures have to be in 1" of each other to combine into a fire group, but does a unit have to maintain a "cohesion"? I don't see anything that says so…….. Thanks, Dave |

We have split companies up, but the fire group rule generally keeps players from doing this. |

Rapid Fire, as its name implies, if designed for fast play so limits many of the rules yet gives a pretty good game. Most folks forget about the small arms fire group rule. While cohesion isnt a requirement the fact that a battalion can only have 5 small arms firing groups, and the 1" rule, tends to keep units pretty much together. A typical battalion has 3 companies and a HQ so there is 4 of the 5 allowed fire groups right there! |
