I just acquired a huge pile of Superior hulls and a separate pile of small bags of turrets and cranes for the hulls. Matching the two has been a bear.

The Alnavco site has some photos, but are there any other sources of images of the Superior 1/1200 waterline models?

Have you tried asking on either of the 1/1200 – 1/1250 waterline model ship discussion boards? I'm sure somebody there could help.

I have an Alnavco sales brochure from 197?, in pretty good shape, that was tucked into my copy of the Seapower III rules. It's just one two-sided 8.5 X 11" sheet, but it features several dozen photos of Superior models. I could copy and forward it if you ping me your email address.

However, the photos are small, dark and blurry. I really think you'll do as well with a copy of Jane's Fighting Ships. But I can provide this, no great trouble.

I am absolutely going to go ahead and track down some three-views of the ships.

Zippy- Ill send you my email, thanks for the offer and it could be handy!

Moral to the story – "Always keep the turrets with the hulls, and separate from others".

I can't imagine trying to sort that out, so feel your pain.

Here are a few websites that have pictures of Superior 1/1200 ships that you can match up your parts to:
pictures are on the small size---

this one has some nice sized pictures

I also did a search: Superior 1/1200 ships and one hit is the "image results" which has a number of pictures of Superior ships groups by type or nation.

Thanks Bob, I'll check those links out.

Mako- I just got another lot from the estate- 200 Microarmor tank turrets in plastic bags. Now I just need to match them to the hulls!
