Is there or have you ever considered having a list of rules sets available for gamers to see? By that I mean, having a listing by,say, time period of rules sets? This could give the newbie/old timers a place to search to see what is out there?

TMP did have such a list at one time – in fact, that was how TMP got started.

I imagine we'll bring it back shortly after TMP 4.0 (next version of this website).

Stephen:

I have a Google doc for just that purpose for primarily historical rule sets. It has a few SciFi/Fantasy included. As a complete rules junkie it is a necessary tool when hitting a flea market or E-bay. Let's see if this link will work (currently organized by title):

My "Rules Directory" project (link above) is an attempt to recreate the TMP rules directory, which is woefully out of date…

I think TMP needs "stickies", and/or reference pages for the various forums, for commonly asked and answered questions, that get asked almost weekly.

No sense recreating/reposting the same info, over and over, and over again, if it's already available.

That would be useful for rules reviews/opinions, what primer colors to use, TO&Es, etc., etc..

Not sure if they should be in their own section, or a subset of the various boards.

I have often thought TMP should add a "Wiki" type thing. Members in good standing could edit/contribute (another reason to join).

Manufacturers and advertisers could have a page they could edit and keep updated. People could offer reviews or outlines of rule sets. TMP has the ciritcal mass to make it work.
