Looking for different types of flock (density, size, texture) in various shades of purple and lavender. So far I've only come across some turf that's all the same shade that is usually used for flowers. Anyone have any ideas? Purplish static grass would also be nice. Would it be better to just die white or beige flocks? |

Friend of mine did a sci fi board with purple grass made from purple teddy bear fur from the fabric store. Trimmed bits and clipped hair were used as static grass to flock some bases. |

For a more realistic effect, I used a red oxide/brown ballast mix, and then put brown/purplish static grass tufts. It looks alien without looking, well, like a purple carpet. link link |

As you wish, Darkest Star. These are 15mm, and I did them for the Martian desert, so I was sparse with the foliage(this was with the short tufts). You can obviously load it down with foliage if you want more purple. FWIW, it looks more purple in person, and these tufts are both shorter and are more subtle than the ones that I linked to. They are 2mm tufts.
