Are baccus the only ones that have these? They only come on cd? I would like them NOW.
I'm gonna start on some prussian on Friday.

Gunfreak, you can get the individual Hall plates from On Military Matters for $8.00 USD ea. They are excellent plates printed on good quality paper stock.

I tried finding them on omm but didn't find then.

Try this: link

I recommend the Hall prints, but if your interest is intensive in the era, the CDs, which are also available from OMM may be more economical if you want multiple prints.

Thanks :) but still only on cd?

Thanks :) but still only on cd?

It's frustrating isn't it. Our hobby seems to use technology that is barely ahead of the historical periods we are gaming at times.

For sales of single unit uniform prints an individual emailing of a PDF, perhaps with some form of copy protection would be something OMM should explore.

I agree.

But the cds aren't copy protected.
I have both French and Dutch cds and it's simply pdfs on cd.

i know some of his plates are found online. Not sure if the rate of iligal dissemination would rise if they where simply downloadable.
Wargaming is a small industry most seem to be honest.

I agree. Otoh I put all my Hall prints in sleeves and into a binder. It makes a nice record of some of the troops in my 1500 figure WSS armies.

The CDs are very nice and thank heaven for speciality vendors such as Dennis that stock somewhat obscure reference materials.

Agreed.
Oh while i have an expert in wss here.

Where did the prussian fusilier garde fight (blue uniforms white facings)
I gather they where not at Blenheim. But where did they fight?

Did they take part in any of Marlboroughs battles or did they fight in the Italian theater?

mghFond11 Aug 2016 11:53 a.m. PST

I recall reading a lot of Prussians did fight in the Italian theater. Sorry I can't be more specific though about that regiment.

IR 1 never actively took part in battle during the WSS. It was part of the forces at Stralsund in 1715 in the GNW.

Other units in the Prussian army fought in the allied army in the WSS often as paid mercenaries, but the garde was never committed to battle.
