Anyone have thoughts on their CS? Got a damaged decal in a ship model, took me a few e-mails, and when I did get a reply they wanted $6 USD plus S&H (whatever that might be).

Years ago when I had a damaged decal from the Nimitz model got a replacement with no issue. I'm likely to just pony up the cash since I need it at any rate, but I expected a bit more from GHQ (particularly with such premium pricing).

Sounds like a signals crossed issue. Normally they would not charge for a replacement. This sounds like they are thinking you are purchasing a one off.

Maybe, was pretty clear in my last e-mail though.

Phone call?

If you call them and explain they will very likely replace. I think they guarantee their models. GHQ is top notch in customer service and it is probably just a misunderstanding.

The back of their models say "unconditional guarantee".

I'll give them a ring, probably just crossed signals as stated above.

S&H is shipping and handling. In the past year or so I've had a couple of damaged micro armour items replaced, no problem, at no cost.
They don't always answer their phone straight away (factory noise, small staff?), and shipping to UK takes a little time. I've phoned them on both occasions and they were very helpful.

Jarrovian,

Apologies, knew what S&H meant, was just commenting on the unknown cost on top of the $6. USD

Got it taken care of, called them and they are sending a replacement. My fault for not doing that in the first place, please disregard my complaint.
