Thanks, Itchy, glad you like it. We have played Naseby out twice now. Both were narrow Parliamentary victories, with the Royalist foot gaining ground against the NMA, but the horse unable to resist the weight of numbers of Parliament. In the game, it seems the Royalist decision to keep so much of their cavalry in the centre is a big mistake given the extent to which their wings are outnumbered. Perhaps a plan developed for different circumstances, which couldn't be altered when they finally became aware of the size of the NMA? For others, yes it is based on To the Strongest, and so is a grid based system. Mollinary |
