… Stealth Fighter vs. America's F-22 Raptor? "Step right up, ladies and gentlemen! Entering the ring today are the two ultimate stealth fighters of the day, the F-22 Raptor and the PAK FA T-50. The former has already completed its production run (or has it?), the latter will soon begin hatching from its industrial nest (or will it?) Today we'll consider which would have the upper-hand at various engagement ranges—blows long and short, all are permitted! And just to keep the audiences on its toes, we'll examine the battle in backwards order, like in that one Seinfeld episode…"

Tough call. Sukhoi usually have unreal maneuverability up close, but the PAK-FA's engines are nowhere near where they need to be, power-wise. Until the engines get sorted out, my money is on the F22. |

PAK FA is still in prototype stage and final engine design hasn't been built. It doesn't even exist yet as a commissioned warplane. F22 has been in service since 2005. I'll bet anyone money on the F22. |
