In preparation for my next project – 28mm Eastern Front WWII – I have scratch-built a collection of houses while I wait for the figures to arrive from The Assault Group and Northstar.

They're terrific… Making a convincingly ramshackle building is something I find quite hard to get right. |

Nice buildings and well done. However, they look appropriate for an American Western, not anything like I've seen in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. |

Perfect for the rural areas of Russia. Look just like the buildings on farms. |

Collective No 136, Long Live the Soviet Peasant Farmers.(Until the crops are confiscated and we all starve anyway).well done Comrade, you are truly an inspiration to the Party. Now make lots more or we may have to re-evaluate your usefulness to the state |

Great pics, good modelling. But there's ramshackle and then there's family homes. You've got ramshackle down pat, now show family home from an established village. They need some sort of ornate carvings around the windows. Possibly the door frames or the roof eaves. Honest, it was the only way to show some individuality dirt cheap. I've wandered through a lot of the FSR and the level of berzerk wooden fret work even through the 1960's is amazing. |
