It's certainly a nice paint job. Looking at it, I got to wondering about the musculature needed for effective wings. I have a succubus, a winged gorilla (Reaper), watched Maleficent, and I've seen other figures and drawings with wings, and I'm not sure anyone has ever tackled this issue. I suppose she'd need more muscles in the back, shoulders and chest to power those wings. Grelber |

You can tell she is a Kamael not a Dromedary as she has two humps! Cheers Roger. |

Grelber – Some years ago someone worked out the anatomy of an angel (assuming no supernatural help). [From memory] To make a human winged there needs to be a bone to anchor on that sticks about a foot out of the solar plexus |

I think that the human body is too dense to fly under its own power. You can make bigger and bigger muscles to power bigger and bigger wings, but the wings will never be able to lift the body to which those muscles are added. Anyway, I assume angels and other winged beings like that fly by using magic, and just have wings so that people will know they're angels or whatever, and not some guy wearing an antigravity rig. |

Read years ago that the human collarbone would have to be on the order of six feet long to support the muscles required for winged flight. Might done for art and/or a film, but I don't think the "actual" product would be attractive as an Angel, or the feminine creature in question. TVAG |

I remember reading about what it would take for an angel to fly with wings. By the time all the modifications were made the angel looked like…..a bird. |
