I asked about them a while back.
Russ replied in a thrilling manner, about entering the Grand Catacombs of OG.
It seems he found the molds, but we have heard nothing since.
I haven't seen them in the on line catalog, but maybe I missed them.

Are they a Special Order?
Epturner has been nagging me to ask. We need them for the '98 you see.

18s or 28s?

Maybe he forgot that they went with the sale of OG15's lines several years back.
Just ordered some from 19th Century Miniatures. Nice stuff.
Oops! I'm wrong, there from the Battle Honours line, link

25s
Or 28s

Hafen von Schlockenberg03 Aug 2016 7:40 a.m. PST

That's interesting. So there were sculpts, and molds made from them? I wonder if the same was done with the 1805 Russians. I always wondered why he didn't complete the line. I would have bought some,if he had.

Not to mention the promised Portuguese and Spanish for the Peninsula.Geez, are molds for them sitting in a dusty barrel somewhere?

Seriously, I have to doubt that any more 25s will see the light of day at least until he's completed all his Blue Moon projects.

Then(my personal druthers),I'd love to see him get back to the 10s,the Coming Scale. Specifically, the other powers for SYW.

Are we talking about the storming of the Bastille or whatever figures? Was there not a thread a couple of years ago about this, that the moulds had been located and limited production runs could be organised as a response to persitent bended knee, whining, threats of physical violence and bribery? These were the mob and the Swiss Guards etc that were done over twenty five years ago. Is that what you are thinking of? If so the thread is on here somewhere…

Winston Smith03 Aug 2016 8:32 a.m. PST

Yes. That's what I'm talking about.

So it looks like maybe time to give him a call.

Funny I was just going through some old magazines and found the Historical Gamer issue with the Tuileries game at Historicon.

Molds have been pulled from the OG catacombs some years back. No codes, etc. It was a great dark, dangerous, and perilous
venture down into them, but Connie did just great.
Must call about these figures as we do not intend to ever release them into wide distribution.
Must call and be specific. There was the mob, Swiss guard, and national Guard I believe . All sculpted by Dave Allsop.

Russ;
Either Winston or I shall be calling as soon as we can get ourselves together on this.

We will be asking about The Mob, The Swiss, and The National Guard.

Thanks for the reply.

I had the unexpected joy of seeing the Tuileries game presented at Origins in Fort Worth back in 1993 (I could be wrong about the date), hosted by Todd Fisher himself. The game was truly impressive. I don't have clear memories of the crowds of figures used in the game, but I think it's great that they're actually still available.

The original thread of this discussion has miraculously appeared on the 18th century boards… not sure how that happened but very clever. Thanks for posting.
Do you have any other piccies please??

Travellera07 Aug 2016 3:47 a.m. PST

Sorry but this the only one I received from Mark. I do not own these models myself (yet :) )
