Here are some British Cavalry that I painted up a many years ago for Grande Armee.
I wanted to fill up the base as I did with my British and French infantry, but it was trickier to do with the cavalry. One thing I did like was how the lines of horses were not straight. It just looked more organic to me as if there was a bit of terrain here and there that would disrupt things. There is more information and more 6mm pictures on my blog. Feel free to comment here or there. Thanks for taking a look! - Jeff squadpainter.blogspot.com |

Edwulf, Frederick - Thank you very much! The Baccus figures are a joy to paint. The raised detail makes it very straightforward. - Jeff squadpainter.blogspot.com |

Hello Jeff! A great piece of work, well done. I've painted miniatures for over 30years before I discovered Baccus. It always seemed like a task before Baccus. No question the raised detail is just perfect for controlling your brush strokes. I now can't wait to paint my next Baccus unit. It's just as you say, "a lot of fun to paint". Best regards, Glenn |

Gunner - Hey, thank you! I like the wavy/bent lines as well. It gives the base a sense of movement. I was also pleased with the way the casualty looks in the front. Because the base didn't have as many figures on it as my infantry bases, I wanted to add something to fill up the space. - Jeff |

Glenn - It's true. The brush kind of finds its way to the bits that need the color. It's almost like the model is reaching out to the brush. Baccus holds a place dear in my heart because it was their miniatures that originally hooked me into historicals. - Jeff |
