I'll be participating in the 3rd Annual RPGaDay celebration. brigadecon.org/rpgaday2016 There's a question a day to answer for the month of August.

While TMP is not my first thought for posting about such stuff, I decided to tack the hashtag onto a scathing diatribe on the ignorant opinions of author, humorist, and "I'm a PC" actor John Hodgman.

Actually it's just a minor disagreement about RPGs with young kids, which turns into a photo montage and explanation how I've managed to play wargames and RPGs with the kids since they were two and not be selfish about it.

Considering my seven year old just pulled me aside to play in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Heroclix game with Shopkins that she wanted to run, I may know a thing or two about it.

* For her first game master job, I questioned nothing, yet it was a glorious disaster that worked. The Turtles won, some bad guys escaped, and her Shopkins became way cooler that Pokemon ever have.
