Hi all Last months update here TMP link Well July has been a tad warm here in the UK!!!! ;-) which we are not used to at all but at least it helped me paint.
I attended the Joy of Six show (highly recommended) and only had a small spend but got lots of ideas for a game next year (need lots more mahdists!!!!) Bought
28mm – 11 (more arabs)
1/1200 – 1 (napoleonic ship (it was a bargain on the Bring and buy) Painted
6mm -96 (mahdist infantry)
28mm – 32 (WWII Polish and some arab cavalry) Monthly total = +116 (WOW!!!)
Yearly total = +256 Plan for August 1 – Continue WWII Polish
2 – More Arab Cavalry
3 – Start Mahdist cavalry :-)

I was rather productive this month for a change. Bought: 30 28MM

Pretty much the same as the last few months, nothing bought nothing painted. Not even much gaming this month. I did buy some figures that were painted just because it wouldn't affect the Pledge. I've an order on the way that will kill my productivity so I had better shake off this slump. This month

July I knew would be a busy month (but not painting) – visited England – clearly brought heat wave with me from California, but succomed to plastic and lead fever Bought 126 28mm figures, finished none 2016 Goals

Well, July for me was a down month – with lots of weekend traveling, activities and plenty of distractions. Very little done but the brush did touch metal. I started May with 254 figures in the pile. I painted 5 figures – all 25mm. 3 – 25mm Elven Archers (Ral Partha)
2 – 25mm AD&D Thieves Set (Grenadier)
I ended the month with 249 figures in the pile. For the year, I have a net of +166 figures. And "no purchases"! SIX months in a row and counting! I think I might be setting a TMP record here. |

Finally had a chance today to count up all of the figs that arrived last month. Received in July: 187
18x 1/300 and 1/285 Jets from I-94 and Scotia
88x 15mm African Regulars
81x assorted 28mm German Colonials and accessories Painted nothing. -187 on the month
On the year:
Painted 182
Received 227
Overall -45 And just like that, I'm way behind the curve. Hopefully I can make up some ground this month. |
