"Here come the new Manta-Lorians!" Topic

Before the Scythe Empire fought the Renegade Alliance, they squared off against the legendary Manta Core Worlds. According to the Manta lore their fierce snail-like ships resisted and bested many Scythe attacks. Those legendary battles can now be replayed by you now!

"No one expects the Manta-Lorians! Our chief weapon is surprise, fear and surprise; two chief weapons, fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency! Er, among our chief weapons are: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and near fanatical devotion to the Leader! Erm, I will come in again…"

These Mollusk-like beings modeled their ships after the gastropods that they evolved from. They most resemble Terran crustacean hermit crabs in their overall appearance, even if they are sometimes confused or hesitant in making decisions. Alone or in pairs they can be deadly, and they do not back down from a fight, especially when a colony only feels threatened. They are aggressive in their territory, and have no compunction in annexing nearby planets and systems into their existing star systems.

Some of the fleets being introduced are located in the Scythe Empire, while the bulk of the new ships and fighters are in the Manta section. I have more on the way as well, from another designer that I am partnering with, but it will be a while before they get mastered and in production.

I've gotten in my order of these ships and they are awesome. They have a few turrets and pieces to glue on here and there but they go together super easy. The details on them and the casting quality is the best I have seen on any of Studio Bergstrom's ships. If you are looking for a very unique fleet for full thrust or any other game space game near this scale, look no further.
