Hi All, Just starting out on a Punic Wars 10mm project. This is my first stab at 10mm and was wondering how Pendraken mix and compare with Newline Designs. I've bought many 20mm off Newline and have always been very impressed with in terms of product, service and costs. I also hear many good things about Pendraken. Thanks Andy |

Was not even aware that Newline had 10 mm ranges; I have had some of their 20mm in the past and they were nice figures. Judging from the website pictures, the 10mm sculpts are nicely proportioned, perhaps a little less "chunky" than typical Pendrakens? Hope someone is able to enlighten us both. |

I use plenty of both; very good mix. I also include a small handful of Irregular Miniatures to boost variety in the more irregular types, and some Steve Barber too. Avoid Adler, however; their weapons are desperately flimsy. |

Well some of the early Gauls had sword problems but fixed those and the Romans were designed with that experience in mind. Better ask for a sample or two and then compare. L |

Here are some comparison photos. I think Newline is a good match for Pendraken Incidentally, I have Newline and Adler Gauls and really like them both. Adler shield transfers are really good Google photo is giving me a headache – please let me know if these don't show up link Left is Newline – middle and right are Pendraken. The whole howdah thing is fictitious so just not in same unit … link Left 2 are newline Balearic slingers, right are a mix of Pendraken Carthaginian and Spanish I am definitely happy to use both John |
