Thanks, Armand! I was at the shrine this spring, and it really is a must see. However, they should have taken pictures of the amazing food booths at the front of the complex. The food alone is well worth the visit, and the Japanese were extremely friendly and helpful.

If you can manage it, try to visit in early to mid April, during the cherry blossom season. Absolutely gorgeous there at the Shrine.
