How far away will I have to look for a room? Is there public parking nearby? |

Very possible and likely fun as well . Even if you don't get down there by 7am,there is parking available . The circle center mall has parking (though at around $20.00 USD for the day ) hotels are available closer than the airport as well -like any city it all depends on how much you want to spend. |

And there are plenty of scheduled and unscheduled events available, as well. |

don't worry about parking. cause there is nothing you can do. you will pay. even if you have a $300 USD hotel room, you still have to pay extra to park. Just thank god the colts are out of town. |

The parking is still much cheaper than a comparable sized city . generally you can find $20.00 USD a day (hotels will be more -cause they can ) Every hotel in any medium + city charges for parking -its just a fact of modern travel life . |

There will be no rooms left at this point unless you stay 20 minutes outside town or are very very very lucky. Parking is fine, the sooner you arrive the better. The lots tend to fill up pretty quickly though they are not that expensive. Gencon is an absolute blast. No it's not filled with historical stuff but it is there, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The dealer hall is the largest collection of gaming stuff for sale you will ever see, and though much of it is only tangential to most of our interests it's interesting and there are still plenty of great items to be found. The auction is amazing as well. |
