On Sunday I placed an order for the Pulp Alley Shoeshine Stand. It arrived today (Wednesday)… obviously wonderful service (immediate notification that my order had been received; immediate notification when my order was shipped and very fast arrival time). The Shoeshine Stand was beautifully package/lots of bubble wrap protection. The stand itself is an outstanding piece of work… the line drawings I have seen do not come close to doing it justice. It has great detail and no flashing and no flaws or imperfections. David and Mila offer an outstanding product. I am thrilled! Richard

Is there a picture of this anywhere? – it sounds very atmospheric.

The best I can do for you right now is direct you to the Pulp Alley store. Look at page two of their Terrain. These are drawings… they are excellent drawings, but excellent as they are, they do not do justice to the piece. For example, each of the foot stands used by customers when they are having their shoes shined are beautifully detailed pieces. One thing I didn't mention was that I was sure that I was going to have to assemble the stand. I was wrong. It came cast as a single piece… one of the nicest pieces of resin casting I have ever seen. The website is store.pulpalley.com

Be careful--I bought it right away, and still think it looks cool, but I very quickly managed to break and lose two of the foot stands.

Tom, thanks for the warning. I painted mine this morning and everything held up well despite the fact that my painting approach was dry brushing… except for the "foot stands" which I left black. That said, I will handle it with care. Richard
