Just stopped by to mention that I finally finished my squadron cards for all the planes in BC/BS. This way you can keep track of damage and other info without needing counters. Plus each squadron card lists the game stats for that type of aircraft. Just print and cut out a squadron's card, fold it in half, and slip it into a 4x6 rigid plastic toploader. Use an erasable marker to tick off damage. I wrote a whole how-to article at my blog, along with links to PDFs for all the planes in the Battle of Britain game. Blog post link: link Here are some sample cards, shrunk down of course. :-) LMK what you think.

The cards look very nice, and should prove useful. I noticed some small errors on them, however. The back side of the Blenheim card is labeled "Defiant" and the back side of the He-111H is labeled "He-11H". I haven't yet checked the numbers for maneuvers, etc. |

Thanks for spotting that, Dennis. I thought I picked over them! I'll fix them asap. |

Corrected the name errors on the Blenheim and He-111H cards, and uploaded new PDFs for them. I also checked all the cards, including their stats, and they all are correct according to the Plane Cards in the base game. One note: The rules explain how to perform "half rolls" and tell the reader to check the "Half Roll" stat on the Plane Cards but the cards and cheat sheet list the stat as "Roll." My cards (and Jerry Boles') correctly label the stat as "Half Roll." Just an FYI. :-) |

CP Belt, these look really great, thanks. I don't suppose you'd be doing these for the expansion, will you? (I can hope- I'd love these for the French, Polish and Dutch birds.) |

Brilliant. I have not played this game for about 4 years. Time to dig it out again. |

I love the Blue Skies rules, bought all the books play the game regularly to this day. Still I refused to buy the Black Cross and the follow up set because I don't want all the stuff just the rules, stat's and scenarios. I wish John would accept that there are lot of us who feel the same and release them as books like he did before. Fatman |

Just realised that I didn't say that the cards are excellent. Much prettier than the ones I do for our participation games. Fatman |

Thanks again, fellows! Fatman, I agree with you on the rulebooks. He could even do them as pdfs. I scanned the BoB rulebook into pdf to preserve the original book. TG, I don't have the expansion, but I do have this image of 16 planes from the set. I can use them to make squadron cards. If you could snap a pic of the missing plane cards and post them or get them to me, I can do them.
