Indeed! Christmas in July! It's been going on for a week now, I think. |

Rapid fire is brigade-level, correct? How adaptable would their scenarios be to other systems? |

Fairly adaptable. They still kind of play like a tactical game. The books are really nice sources as well. |

I should have clarified, I'm curious if they'd be usable for company level games. |

The scenarios are very adaptable. They use the same scale as Command Decision/Test of Battle, Spearhead and several other popular sets of rules. |

Their scenarios kinda feel like playing a company level game so should convert right over. |

It actually is a company/platoon level game. |

We use the scenarios with Bolt Action when not using them for RF. |

I bought all the desert books. Even if you don't play Rapid Fire, they're great reference for TO&E and scenarios. And in full color! |

I have a number of their books. Scenarios are based on history with scaled down OOB's. Usually a few battalions a side. The Normandy Battlegroup book gives you all they key divisions in Normandy with a points value. The entire division scaled down or a battlegroup. 400 or 200 points respectively. Thus you can build a force whatever size you have with your existing figures. Adding some extras to the 200 point force. Then there are scenario suggestions for games in the back. We've used this book for a number of great games. |

Gonna have to get me some of the North Africa supplements that are only available in pdf. All of the printed books are already in my collection. @Cheesesailor77 For a standard 6'x4' table 1-2 battalions of Infantry with a Regiment of armour & artillery/Anti-Aircraft support is about normal. The standard figure ratio for RF is 1:15 & vehicles 1:5, so a Battalion of Infantry works out at 40-50 figures & Regiment of armour approx 10 tanks. However, the rules do not force you to stick to this. Version 1 rules included a scenario which had a ratio of 1:1 for everything so it can be scaled to suit the scenario, table size, figures available etc. With the 40-50 fig Bn, troops generally fire & fight in Company groups of 8 figures. If you were to change the figure ratio to 1:1 for a platoon/company game then I would suggest troops fire & fight by section/squad. So yes, they would be suitable for Coy level gaming. |
