Hi there-
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what figures to use for Space 1889 moon men? I'm wanting the short bald guys not Selenites. Any ideas?

Thanks-

Krampus

Reaper's Bones they have alien greys that may do the trick.

Very skinny short elves,I've yet to find any :(

I look forward to you finding some so I can add some to my Space 1889 collection.

I thought about using some kind of 20mm elves or something like that too DLIinVSF!

Uuummm 20mm bald shaman/priest types in poses that can be converted to carry electric rifles and other such things? Then paint them blue?

I'll keep thinking……………….

These are the ones right?

I know the illustrations in the Space 1889 book are a little more squatty and gnome like.

Depending on how good you are with putty, some 15mm or 20mm Greeks might be a good place to start. Even some crude putty work could go a long way to making them look like the Moon Men with lower tech weapons.

Yes that's the wee fellows.I think 15mm maybe too small. But I hadn't thought of 20mm Greeks, maybe add some pointy ears etc? It's getting a nice bald head first.

If you go the 15mm Greek route, check out Xyston.

They are a bit bulkier than some 15mm and so will have a good heft next to 28mm figs.

They also have a wide range of poses and plenty of variety in ancient attire.
