Does this look ok to you or should I scale the building down even furter?
Building is from Dropzone Commander free stuff, scaled down to 30%. This is just a test. Feel free to let me know what you think, either here or on my Blog: link |

I'd probably try it at 25%, but looks good. |

(10mm is usually taken as 1/144 or 1/150, so a bit of a misnomer.) |

Looks better than good to me. Superb(!) would probably be more appropriate. Definitely wouldn't reduce it anymore, since big buildings need to be, well, BIG. |

I would keep it the same – it is, after all, a big multi-story building |

I think it looks the right size. |

Dunno, looks a bit on the large side to me. I think that instead of scaling buildings to the model size, they should be scaled to the terrain size. This means that the buildings are noticeably smaller than models but you don't end up with shed that are hundreds of meters wide… Depending on which kind of buildings you're after this site I located just yesterday might be of assistance: link Also, if you need some I should have links to plenty of brownstone PDF buildings somewhere (if I can locate them after my email program crashed several times…) |

To my mind, the question is the level of your game. Is each facade literally a single building? Does your tank represent a single vehicle? If you answer yes to these, I think your brownstone frontage looks fine. I'm using 3mm terrain pieces – and sometimes smaller – with 1/300-1/285 figs and vehicles because the latter are whole units. My ground scale is actually around !:4000. If you're doing anything similar, your buildings and trees will dominate the ground if true to your figure scale. My take anyway. |

Thank you gentlemen :) I play 1:1 so prefer everything to be in scale or just a little smaller Lonkka1Actual: a link would be highly appreciated. |

If you search for 6mm Battletech paper terrain, you should find more stuff to convert to 3mm. I downloaded it years ago, and am using the files straight up for 6mm gaming and at half size for 3mm giant monster games. |

It looks nice. Are you just printing at a reduced scale or actually resizing the images in Photoshop/GIMP/whatever? If the latter, would you be willing to share your modifications? Thanks. |

As long as the infantry base can fit on the top of the building (assuming the cardboard bldg. is attached to the base and not capable of being lifted off), that's the right size. |

I like my buildings being slightly oversized for 3mm and 6mm figures. If you want to be super realistic, make it a touch smaller. |
