When you are sleeping, do you dream about miniature wargaming? * all the time * some of the time * rarely * never |

Rarely, but more often I'm part of a reenactment group, but I've never done that. |

Rarely, but I have had a recurring dream where I arrive at a convention just minutes before the dealers' area closes. |
M1Fanboy | 25 Jul 2016 12:42 p.m. PST |
Rarely..but it does happen..for some strange reason..it's always this 1-1 scale Napoleonic..and I don't even play Nappies..and it's always with friends I have lost..even the ones who didn't game…WTH does that mean? |

Never that I know of… but I have not remembered a dream in decades. |

Mostly I dream about castings, but they're never happy dreams. I find the castings but I can't buy them--no money, wrong credit card or some such--or I buy them and it turns out they're all officers--or all musicians, or I bought them for a5's and they're actually 20's. I actually do better in real life. |

Never, but thinking about how to write something has occasionally kept me up at night. |

Rarely. More often about my gaming buddies. Occasionally about online gaming or RPGing. |
45thdiv | 25 Jul 2016 2:05 p.m. PST |
Actually, all the time. Not gaming as such, but more flea market and vendors all in one room. It's held in a public venue like a shopping mall or along with some other convention, like a bridal show, or some new cooking stuff. So I guess I dream about conventions a lot. People are playing, but I am just there to find missing figures for my armies. |

Rarely – more often I lie awake trying to think up a plan to get me out of some fix I'm in or thinking about how terribly I played some game. That is part of the reason I no longer game at night. |
Allen57 | 25 Jul 2016 3:11 p.m. PST |
Once or twice a week usually about PC games, rarely about miniatures or board games. |
Korvessa | 25 Jul 2016 3:15 p.m. PST |
If you count day dreaming at work – quite frequently |

Some of the time. Usually about replaying to correct some bad mistake!! |
Jamesonsafari | 25 Jul 2016 4:27 p.m. PST |
My recurring dream involves finding a previously undiscovered hobby shop or book store with miniatures and they have all the wonderful figures I've been searching for. But then I never have any money! |
Mooseworks8 | 25 Jul 2016 4:57 p.m. PST |
Some of the time. Usually revolves around finding my miniatures in the yard or places other than my war room. Last one was that I found some great bargains on minis at a flea market. |
FusilierDan | 25 Jul 2016 5:20 p.m. PST |
Several times I've dreamt that Airfix had come out with sets to complete some eras and some new ones. Cavalry and Artillery for AWI, Native Americans, Zulus, More Bedoin cavalry, Knights….. Yea it's a long dream and I never get to the checkout counter:-( |
myxemail | 25 Jul 2016 5:27 p.m. PST |
Often enough. Most recently looking for specific minis or trying to get to the back corner of the game shop. Always seeking some minis Mike |

Many years ago I'd occasionally have dreams themed around entering a shop in which even the most obscure subjects were available in 1/72 plastic. And they say dreams never come true! The strangest aspect of this is that I don't use 1/72 plastics at all. |

Never. The flashback/nightmares are very possessive and won't let any one else play. |

"I find the castings but I can't buy them--no money, wrong credit card or some such" "My recurring dream involves finding a previously undiscovered hobby shop or book store with miniatures and they have all the wonderful figures I've been searching for. But then I never have any money!" I believe that is a recurring theme in wargamers' dreams. I used to have that dream quite often, but these days I seldom dream about wargaming. I suspect the availability of online stores have alleviated my anxiety about not being able to buy the figures I want. |

Looking back, I think I have, but rarely. More often I dream of conventions. I often have dreams about wandering about, looking at all the games and vendors, in a state of blissful, unhurried contentment. They seldom are repetative. Sometimes the same venues, but never ones I have actually been to, and always different offerings. Sometimes, I wake, thinking I have forgotten to visit the flea market, but even these dreams are pleasant. |

Never, then again I don't dream about other things either. Db |
(Phil Dutre) | 25 Jul 2016 11:42 p.m. PST |
Frequently, and often the night after a game evening. Usualy I'm running through the scenario again, and then get stuck working out some gaming mechanic. |
War Artisan | 26 Jul 2016 3:37 a.m. PST |
Occasionally. When I do, it is invariably about what it is like to play in games that I haven't designed yet. When I wake up, I take notes while the memories are still fresh. |

Funny this topic came up. I used to NEVER dream about war games. Now I've been having dreams every other night. Kind of nightmares. I'm at a con and the con is bizarre with out of scale figures, MacDonalds toy figures mixed in. The paint jobs are nice but there is a sense of all pervading unease about it. |

I tend to go to sleep thinking of my next project but I don't think the train of thought persists… I do dream about frantically buying stuff though. |

I have dreamed about war gaming or designing game concepts in the past but not on a regular basis. In fact last night I dreamed of a new mechanic for a block game system. Lol. |

I don't usually remember my dreams, but my nightmares. So never about wargaming. |
