Well, that's a new take on an old story… Looks like a whole lot of fantasy movies mashed up into one, and "King Arthur" slapped onto lend legitimacy. |

One day, they will make a proper King Arthur movie. But…not today. |

Let's see it first… Well let me know how it is because I'm not planning on wasting the money. One day, they will make a proper King Arthur movie. But…not today.
Yeah, I can't even figure out if it's supposed to take place in the Dark Ages or in some post apocalyptic world. And that guy playing Arthur looks like he's in his mid thirties. (Just checked IMDB, I was pretty close, he's 36.)And a name change for the flick as well as the fact that it was pushed back from Summer 2016 to Late winter (well after the holiday movie season) 2017 is never a good sign. |

One day, they will make a proper King Arthur movie. Based on which author? There are so many to chose from, just off the top of my head: Malory, T.H. White, Howard Pyle, Bernard Cornwell, just to name a few. My favorite so far is "Excalibur", circa 1980. I realize plate armor like that didn't exist in the Dark Ages, but I still enjoyed the director's vision and the telling of the story. |
