Was reading a boardgame review about if something happened to the persons games – Which ones would they buy again Thought it was a great question for here. If something happened to all of your miniatures – Which ones would you buy, paint etc… again? For me the top 3 would by the: American Civil War Colonials (NW Frontier/India and Africa) 30 Years War What are your top 3? |

If I lost everything and had to start from scratch… Rebuild Dwarfs vs Goblins for fantasy gaming. Probably in 15mm this time around. Punic Wars. Do them in 1/72 plastics again because it was cheap enough the first time. Then a real toss up for 3rd place between something Scifi or WWII. I guess it really depends if I am just replacing minis or if I am replacing rulebooks too. |

3mm aerial -1914 – 1980s! 25mm Spain in North America! Unless it could be done in 15mm. 15mm VSF Tarzan on Venus and in Africa! 15mm fantasy! 15mm Science Fiction! Because… Three is not enough! Maybe WSS too. |

If I lost everything in a fire, I would not re-do anything. Instead I would invest the insurance money in the stock market. My wife would applaud my decision and then I would mooch off other players figs… However, were I to break down and buy one new pack of Perry or AB or Heroics and Ros… The dam would break Napoleonics (6mm, 18mm and 25mm cause if I go, I go big) WWII Micro WOTR – 28mm SYW – 6mm |

I would rebuild/repaint; ACW 28mm AoS 1/1200 Langton Ships I would also redo (and maybe finish finally) my Medieval Cathedral (using Pegasus building as a base). I would get into;
18mm ACW vice 15mm XIIIth Century 28mm Medievals vice Normans 3~4 Musketeers |
Winston Smith | 24 Jul 2016 5:19 p.m. PST |
28mm AWI. But I would never get it up to the level I have now. |
BW1959 | 24 Jul 2016 5:21 p.m. PST |
I would rebuild my ACW armies but skip 15mm and go with 10mm, do ACW Naval in 1/1200 not 1/600 (I like the new Thoroughbred ships). Not sure on SYW all of my stuff is the old Mikes Models, never really liked Essex, if I could find a line I like I'd rebuild them. And would easily rebuild my 15mm WW2 and Punic wars DBA. |
21eRegt | 24 Jul 2016 5:59 p.m. PST |
15mm WWII because the least time and financial investment would get me going again. 15mm Napoleonics because that is where my love resides deepest, though if I could only be a modest scholar that would be enough. 15 AND 28mm SYW. Can't get enough of big battles and big battalions respectively. |

I have already sold off unused periods, scales and sizes. Therefore I would rebuild my favorites….. WW II in 15mm Napoleonics in 15mm WW II aircraft in 1/300 Mike |
rustymusket | 24 Jul 2016 7:31 p.m. PST |
I would start a new collection of Austrian Napoleonic and Bavarian Napoleonic and AWI skirmish. |

1/600 ACW naval-definitely my most-played project Hydroplane racing-maybe my most fun and unusual project 28 mm Hundred Years War in all its various permutations. Honestly there aren't any of my projects I regret doing, it's just that I have so many of them and so little time. |

Zulu's and Boxers, very rarely use them. Replace with Ancient and/or dark age armies. |
FusilierDan | 25 Jul 2016 5:28 p.m. PST |
28mm AWI 40mm Little Britons 15mm WWII British Colonials but not in 25mm FPW but not in 15mm So that's five of the fifteen or so periods/scales I have. |
etotheipi | 25 Jul 2016 6:19 p.m. PST |
I gave away voluntarily and am currently rebuilding my Battle of Puebla set. If it were lost, I would do so again. I would probably continue modding space marines I get for less than a buck a head, so I don't know if that counts as replacing, restarting, or just continuing. Same goes for inhuman beastie conversions. I would probably concentrate more on civilian populations and be more selective on armed units. Moderns would be imperative, then Victorians, then Ancients, then fantasy humans. |

I hope that I could come back and stick with Fantasy, World War II and Late 19th Century Colonials, ONLY. Further limit these to small scales no larger than 15mm. |

Here are my top 5 in no particular order (cannot reduce it to 3) … ACW 15mm AWI 15mm Franco-Austrian/Austro-Prussian/Franco-Prussian 15mm Napoleonics 25mm WW1 25mm |
