"Minature lines comparable to redbox and hasslefree" Topic

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on miniature lines of comparable quality and detail for hyboria/conanesque humans as to the quakity of red box, and some recent Hasslefree miniatures. (Think the "Tregar" miniature as the level of detail I'm looking to find)

Have you tried Reaper?

I find a lot of Reaper figures to be a bit large for the two manufacturers listed. Here is a good company that fits in well

I agree- I think its due to Reaper coming across as making alternatives to GW figures, and they tend to have really strange proportions. But then also there can be huge variance just due to so many different sculptors making works put under the same banner.

But even then, most of the more realistically detailed models tend to be of nubile half naked women. Which while very much appreciated, do not always have a place in every warband. Well, perhaps they do- I just wasnt planning on making a whole warband of them…

Ill be checking out Heresy though! And looking forward to if anyone else has suggestions on lesser known manufacturers.

I think Jowady recommend Reaper because Tre manor the sculptor for redbox also has a load of sculpts for reaper don't now about the size but stylistically they are similar

Thunderbolt Mountain, I think the line is called. Also for an asian flavor the kensei minis look to in the same proportion but I cannot totally confirm that. Also the gw lotr models are in this proportion and the orcs make good wild humans.
