We are preparing to add the Mustang Class Aerial Torpedo boat to the line of models available in 1/100 scale.

A one of a kind version will be offered as a reward in our Kickstarter link

Doug Glenn is a long time friend of mine and one of the most creative people I know. He founded a Ren Faire in St Louis and was its driving artistic force for years. Since then he has built props and items for sets on numerous projects, including Fan Star Trek projects. He consented to build a model of one of the most iconic of the Hive, Queen and Country aerolyth vessels the American Mustang Class Torpedo Flyer, a vessel designed to protect the coasts of the United States from attack by enemy battlefleets. When introduced into service in the 1890s they were one of the fastest and most heavily armed classes of aerial ships on Earth. During its (fictional) service career the vessels were modified to carry heavy air to air rockets, bombs and other ordnance to meet various mission needs. The vessels were heavily engaged during the Second Hive War and served for over twenty years. Two of the class were built on Venus for service on that world and saw action during the two sieges of the International City.

As you can see Doug is making great progress on the model of the Mustang. The reward includes the completed model, painted and based ready for display. In addition you will get all six of the books (as well as any stretch goals) as Downloadable PDFs.

Will it be available outside the KS?

That's a neat little thing! I'd love to see this as a resin kit. Actually, a range of 'coastal action' VSF craft in 1/100… now, that would be a thing…

It will be available outside the Kickstarter. Look for it from our great friends at Gaming Models inc link

These couple of models in particular would be fine for coastal actions

WE have a few other things up our sleeves for the near future.

With the existing ships you can do a lot of historical straight to VSF games! Scenarios involving Chinese pirates in junks, Arab slave traders in Dhows or on the rivers of Africa or perhaps the Boers get a few of these flyers and stage a raid against British shipping.

Actually let me make you all a deal!

Get us over our first stretch goal by midnight on the 31st and I'll write up and publish as FREE downloads three scenarios useful as either Role Playing sessions or Miniature games.
