Looking to find an on-line old catalogue of the Connoisseur Miniatures (PDF scan out there?). I have some figure casting numbers I would like to reference. Bicorne produces the miniatures now and renumbered the figures. I am looking to reference the old Connoisseur casting numbers. Any help out there? |

Are you sure? My favourite French infantry were F24a-F24e. Bicorne has them numbered CON-F024a-e. So pretty similar. What are the codes and I will try to figure them out for you. |

You might look in some of the early issues of Wargames Illustrated when Peter Gilder ran monthly advertisements with the lists of product codes. |

I have an old printed catalogue but no scanner. What numbers do you want to check? |

I sent a bunch of old catalogs to HalMWAN a while back. I'm pretty sure the Conn. catalog was included. Maybe he will see this. |

Brian – understood my first experience with this brand of miniature. Sorry for my ignorance. Excellent idea regarding WI, I have back issues to reference. Some backstory here: I was contacted by a gentleman, who from a friend; had aquired a miniatures collection. This gentleman wanted nothing more than to put the miniatures into the hands of someone who would give them a good home. Sight unseen I responded that I would accept the miniatures. Anything was possible and I had no idea what to expect. The collection is about 500-600 French Napolonic Connoisseur figures, about half of which are painted to a reasonable standard. 15 Osprey books on the subject, two sets of rules and a 6mm H&R French Napolonic army. Three units painted. He has a three page detailed list of all the miniatures that were purchased by code # and # of figures of each he purchased. All horses are also listed. Looks like nothing has been done with the collection since 1997. |

dmebust, If you're stating these are for sale, I'd be interested. Most of my French army is already Connoisseur, which I started back in the 80's during a visit to the WHC run by Peter Gilder. pbishop12 at yahoo dot com |
